Morning Call: Gales & heavy rain - Dry in the east, Oct 24 - 06:04

More settled later this week Some heavy rain across south west England and parts of Wales and Northern Ireland as gales affect the north west and south west of the country. That rain affects the western half of the country this afternoon. Eastern areas will be dry with some sunshine today. Look for highs of 11 to 16C.

This evening rain moves eastward and will be heavy, lingering across eastern parts of England and Scotland leaving a few showers in the west. Lows of 6 to 13C.
