Mamma mia! Could ABBA be Glastonbury Festival's next headliners?

Veteran pop stars are lining up in hopes of filling the "old-timers" spot at Glastonbury Festival.

Scandinavian disco favourites Abba have been tipped to star at this June's festival after reports they may reform.

Jon Bon Jovi has said he would love to headline if Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis has no other plans.

William Hill is offering odds of 33-1 that Abba will reform. The firm was offering the same odds at this time last year on Take That reforming, and that proved a good bet.

Bon Jovi told the Daily Star: "If they don't have another old-timer like me I'd love to go out and see it, and perhaps do a set, for sure."

Headliners for this year's Festival have yet to be confirmed though tickets have sold out.

Meanwhile Rihanna says she wants to follow her mentor Jay-Z and play.

The 22-year-old said: "Since Jay-Z played they are open to a lot more R&B – and 'Umbrella' would be the perfect song for that place too."

The singer has revealed that even though the festival goers are more interested in rock, she thinks she could impress them.

Rihanna said: "I'd love to play Glastonbury. I have heard so many things about what happens there. I love rock music. I love Kings of Leon and The Prodigy.

" I think I could rock the stage at Glastonbury, no question."
