Beyonce to close this year's Glastonbury Festival

​Beyonce will the Sunday night headline slot at this year's Glastonbury Festival, it has been announced.

The superstar singer is set to round off their summer's festival on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday, June 26.

Beyonce, whose hits include Crazy In Love, said: "This really is the biggest festival in the world and I cannot wait to perform there. Everyone who attends is really appreciative of music and is in such a good mood that entire weekend.

"I'm pumped just thinking about that huge audience and soaking up their energy."

This won't be her first visit to the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, she was at Worthy Farm in Pilton in 2008 to see husband Jay-Z.
