Showers in southern Mediterranean Today A fine, dry day with sunny spells developing across England. Lots of dry, sunny weather too across the channel into France, Belgium, The Netherlands up into Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Just a few showers across northern Germany otherwise dry and sunny. An area of rain will affect Finland and the Baltic States with showers across the far north of Poland. Fine and dry across the rest of Poland into Belarus, Russia, The Ukraine and Hungry. Warn across the Balkans with lots of sunshine across the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Turkey. Heavy showers with scattered thunderstorms are forecast across southern Italy into Sicily. Dry, sunny and warm across northern Italy across into Corsica, Sardinia in to the Balearics, Spain and Portugal.
Wednesday With high pressure in charge, lots of wine, warm, summery weather to come across Europe. Lots of warm sunshine will be on offer across Britain, France, The Low Counties into Germany. This fine, dry weather will also extend across into Poland into the Baltic States and Russia. Cooler across Scandinavia but dry and mostly sunny across Norway, Sweden and Finland. A few showers to come across the Ukraine but it also looks settled and dry across the former Yugoslavia, Romania, Greece and Turkey. Fair and dry across Italy today but still quite a few heavy, thundery showers are forecast across Sicily south into Malta. More cloud generally across Iberia but mainly dry for Portugal and Spain.
