Morning Call: Drizzle in southeast - Showers west Scotland, Sep 26 - 06:03

Cloudy and damp north and west, better for the east and south Good morning, We are entering a week which looks set to bring us the last vestiges of summer. However, it's not going to be a smooth road as we reach that point. An old front is over southeast England through this morning, and this looks like hanging around through the rest of today and tonight, bringing some outbreaks of rain. It could be that the front even hangs around through parts of tomorrow, and doesn't really clear until the afternoon.

Away from the front conditions should be dry and fine with lots of warm sunny spells. There will be some showers over Ireland and western Scotland, but elsewhere it is likely to be dry. More persistent rain into western Scotland and Ireland through tonight, with many areas staying rather cloud, and more drizzle across southeast England.

Have a great day. Simon me at simon.keeling@weatheronline.co.uk
