UK Forecast: Very warm weather - Cloud far west, Sep 27 - 15:50

Wednesday Some mist and fog patches around to start Wednesday morning. These are likely to be clearing away fairly quickly to leave the morning dry with some good spells of sunshine across most of England and Wales. Ireland and western Scotland will have cloudier skies, although it should be dry. The afternoon sees lots of warm sunshine for most of the country. Western Ireland and the far west of Scotland again at risk of seeing cloudier skies. Highs at 19 to 24C.

Wednesday Night Bits and pieces of rain drifting into western Ireland and the far west of Scotland through tonight. Elsewhere the night should be dry. There will be some lengthy clear spells which will allow some mist and fog patches to form by the morning. Lows at 11 to 14C.

Thursday A fair day to come for most on Thursday of the country thanks to high pressure to the east. There will be plenty of warm sunshine, after morning mist and fog patches have cleared. Thicker cloud through Ireland and western Scotland where fronts will be holding station, perhaps producing a few spots of drizzle at times. Highs will be to around 17C in northern Scotland, 25C in southeast England.

Friday Little change into Friday with high pressure still in control to the east of the country. It should be dry and very warm again. There will be lots of sunshine throughout the country. Western parts of Ireland may have some thicker cloud with a front once again close by. Highs to between 18 and 26C.
