UK Forecast: Very warm - Cloudier far west, Sep 28 - 16:26

Thursday Some mist and fog patches at first in more rual parts, but these soon clearing. The day is then going to be another fine and sunny one over most of England, Wales and Scotland. Feeling very warm once again in the sunshine too. Further west there will be more cloud through Ireland and the far west of Scotland. This is likely to be producing a few spots of rain, with some drizzle on the coasts and hills. Highs at 19C in western Scotland and Ireland, 26C in eastern England.

Thursday Night Staying cloudy overnight in western Ireland and western Scotland. The rain should fade for a time, but will return to western Ireland later, although this only light and patchy. For Scotland, England and Wales the night it going to be dry. There will be long clear spells and some mist or fog patches will be forming in more rural locations by dawn. Lows of 9 to 12C.

Friday High pressure to the east of the country brings another fine and very warm day to most of England, Wales and eastern Scotland. There will be plenty of sunshine here and it should be staying dry. A front to tuhe west will be giving cloud and some outbreaks of rain through Ireland and the far west of Scotland, some of this turning heavy in the afternoon, although not making much progress eastwards. Highs will be reaching 27C in southeast England, 18C in Northern Ireland.

Saturday High pressure brings another fine day across much of England and Wales. There will be lots of sunshine, and it is going to be remaining dry throughout the day too. A front does lie through Scotland and Ireland, and this is going to be producing periods of rain. Most of the rain should be fairly showery in nature, although there will be some heavier bursts. Highs will be to 14C in Northern Ireland, 27C again through southeast England.
