European Summary: Sunny & dry south - Unsettled to north, Jul 16 - 06:04

Unsettled across northern areas, lots of sunshine in southern Europe Monday Rain sweeps east through southern Ireland and the southern UK today. Cloud and some drizzle over the far north of France, but some sunshine to the south. Sunshine too through Iberia and into the Mediterranean. Italy and Greece as well as Turkey will be fine and sunny. Heavy showers across Bulgaria and Romania with some heavy showers affecting Poland and the west of Russia. These showers affecting the Baltic States. More persistent rain or showers into Finland, and outbreaks of rain will be affecting central and northern Sweden. Fair for southern Sweden, with a few showers in Denmark. Norway should be fair again with further showers.

Tuesday High pressure will be bringing a fair day to much of Spain and Portugal today. It should be dry in the southern half of France too with more sunshine, btu some cloud and rain affects the far north. Italy will have a dry day with lots of sunshine here. It should be staying dry and sunny for Greece and Turkey too. Cloud and some rain in the Low Countries, a mix of sunshine and showers in northern Germany. Cloud and rain for southern Germany and blowing through Poland as well. Sunny spells and dry in Romania and Bulgaria. Low pressure in Scandinavia will bring unsettled weather. Cloud and outbreaks of rain in Finland. A few showers for the Baltic States. Heavy showers across Sweden. More showers in Denmark, but some cloud and rain across Sweden.
